Bring a Big Appetite to Beer & Oysters on the Sound 2019

On September 15th, the best local breweries and home brewers will converge on Lighthouse Point Park, near the carousel, for the fifth installment of Beer & Oysters on the Sound—and they’re not the only ones. Purveyors of fresh New England seafood will shell out just-netted oysters to complement the suds, along with hot fare from local food trucks.

Come to the park between 4 and 7 p.m. to taste-test your way through the array of food and drink. Breweries such as Black Hog brewing, Nod Hill Brewery, and Connecticut Valley Brewing are just a few of the vendors who will pour craft suds to go with your oysters. As you slurp and sip, you can also enjoy live music and check out masterpieces created by local artists—not to mention go for a free spin on the historic carousel. Tickets are $40, and souvenir pint glasses will be available for $5.
