It might be hard to believe that the stunning building in which NOLO now resides was inhabited by a local dry cleaning business for more than six decades. The striking, modern mix of concrete and glass was actually designed and constructed specifically for the family that ran the beloved small business.
As of a few weeks ago, the space has swapped laundry for contemporary Italian cuisine and fine wine. Meet friends at NOLO to share a meal together, and try the freshly crafted Italian ramen or the wild boar ragu. The cacio e pepe comes highly recommended, a dish of bucatini pasta topped with pancetta, cracked pepper, Calabrian chili, preserved lemon, and parmesan Reggiano cheese. The menu also showcases traditional wood-fired pizzas, larger entrees, and a list of craft cocktails.
