Read on to find out where you can find the best barbecue restaurants for you and your friends and family without having to stand in a long line at the grocery store.
Bull and Swine, located at 969 State St, New Haven which is about one mile from your 360 State apartment, is a cozy hangout for Southern BBQ sandwiches, plates and sides plus cocktails and beer in rustic-chic digs.
At this popular eatery, don’t miss out on some of their signature dishes such as their smoked meatloaf with beef, onions, shallots, garlic and ketchup or the island chicken which can be jerk marinated, smoked or buttermilk fried and served with collard greens.
Ricky D’s Rib Shack, located at 302 Winchester Ave, New Haven which is a mile and a half from your 360 State apartment, is, of course, known for their ribs and for the fact that the owner of the restaurant is from the South – so he knows what real Southern barbecue should taste like.
Make sure that you try their famous Ricky D’s pork ribs, combination platters featuring ribs, pulled pork, wings, beef brisket and more as well as some of their sandwiches such as the chopped chicken sandwich and rib tip sandwich.
