Here at the 360 State apartments, we have the best of both worlds – we live in a bustling, busy city and we also have plenty of access to green space.
With Earth Day almost here on April 22, there is no better time to take advantage of that than now! If you’re looking to finally enjoy this warm weather by taking the dog out, going for a walk or just throwing the Frisbee around, then check out one of the parks located near your 360 State apartment.
East Rock Park, located at 41 Cold Spring St, New Haven which is about four miles from your 360 State apartment, is a 425-acre park offering scenic views of New Haven, wooded hiking trails, fields and picnic areas. The park also has tons of facilities for the public to use, including ball fields, basketball courts, bicycle trails, playgrounds and more.
Lighthouse Point Park, located at 2 Lighthouse Rd, New Haven which is about five miles from your 360 State apartment, features an 1847 lighthouse on this beachfront park that is popular with swimmers and is also prime birding spot. Each fall and spring, thousands of song birds and birds of prey are seen in the migratory oasis.
