While the air is still chilly in March, there’s nothing like a hot cup of coffee to get you on your way, and even better if that coffee shop is only blocks from your 360 State apartment. Luckily for 360 State residents, that’s more than a dream – there are tons of coffee shops nearby, making for a great stop on your way to work or even just on your way out for some fun.
Koffee, located at 104 Audubon Street, New Haven which is about a half a mile from your 360 State apartment, is known for its fair-traded and organic coffee that, of course, also tastes great. Besides classic drinks like espressos and lattes, Koffee also serves some fun frozen drinks, such as their sea salt caramel mocha, chocolate chip cookie dough drink and Nutella drink.
Koffee also has their own bakery, where they make all of their baked goods fresh every morning. Here, you’ll find cookies, muffins, croissants, tea breads, scones, bagels and more. Plus, they’re ready made and good to go, perfect for those on the run.
Jojo’s Coffee and Tea, located at 1177 Chapel Street, New Haven which is about half a mile from your 360 State apartment, serves house-roasted coffee, teas and smoothies, plus pastries and snacks, in a cozy, brightly colored room. Open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day of the week, it’s also a nice and quiet spot to get some work done!
A local favorite, Jojo’s Coffee and Tea is also known for their delectable food that’s great for those in a rush with items such as sandwiches, wraps and more.
