There are many ways to celebrate the Fourth of July this weekend. 360 State Street residents can join in on the local fun with several firework displays happening around New Haven and Connecticut! If you can’t get enough and are looking for something more after you are finished with all the daytime holiday activities, there is no better way to end your day then with an extravagant firework display.
The town of Meriden will have a fireworks display to celebrate Fourth of July on July 1st this year. Fireworks are set to begin as soon as the sun goes down. The firework and pre show activities will take place at Hubbard Park starting at 7pm. There will be a live performance by Braiden Sunshine who made his name none by being featured on the tv reality show The Voice. There will also be plenty of food such as burgers, hot dogs, chips and nachos provided by local vendors. For more information visit the town’s Facebook page.
Milford is less than a twenty minute drive from 360 State Street and will host a fireworks show on July 8th if you are looking for a show after the holiday weekend. Their event will feature food and music all day long. Local vendors will be hosting stations throughout the event whipping up some yummy snacks. Local participants this year include Baked and Loaded, Local Meatball, 744 Express and many more! Wines and More will be serving up beverages to complement all the delicious food. Fireworks will conclude the celebration to kick off the summer and celebrate Independence Day!
